Bratsilava

Bratsilava was our first stop on the cruise. And Slovakia our third country. Bratsilava is the capital of this new country but it is not a young city by any means. It was first settled over 2000 years ago by Celtic tribes and since then has seen the rise and fall of many empires. The old town is charming and well preserved with narrow cobbled pedestrian streets. Boat docked eight at the entrance to the Old Town. This little town doesn’t feel like a European capitol but we also didn’t see anything outside the old town. But I can check it off my bucket list to visit all the Capito cities in Europe.

We had hot chocolate at a little cafe. The drink was more like a fondue or chocolate pudding before it chills.
